Other features include a 17 inch WSXGA+ (1,680×1,050), IGB of GeForce 9800M GTX graphics card, a 1.3MP camera, 4 in 1 card reader, HDMI out, USB, Firewire, WLAN, and a DVD super drive. What makes this gaming monster cool is that it comes with a flame design skin. The Toshiba 9800M GTX High End Gaming Laptop will be released in Japan next month with the SSD model selling for 348,000 Yen ($ 3500).

Bamboo-Case Green Laptop From ASUS

Here comes laptop that is not just looking green from the outside, but also on the inside and more, introducing Bamboo Series Notebook from ASUS. The company claims throughout every phase of the laptop’s life – from its conception, production and use to its eventual recycling and disposal, the bamboo-clad laptop is truly green. In developing the laptop, the company enforced its management to utilize tools that strictly adhered to the green principles. The Bamboo Series will come in both 12.1- and 11.1-inch variants, weighing 1.57kg and 1.25kg, respectively. Both will feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors, DDR2 RAM, and LED-backlit displays, with minor hardware differences for each. This is an HD DVD capable laptop. With 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 240GB RAID 0 HDD and Nvidia GeForce Go 7600, it is a nice computer other than being a good HD DVD player with 17 inch 1920×1200 display. At a price of $3500 it will serve as a good entertainment laptop.

Toshiba dynabook Satellite TXW/69DW Laptop

The Toshiba dynabook Satellite TXW/69DW laptop comes loaded with an AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600 and a 15.4 inch LCD with a WXGA resolution. The desktop replacement also features a Core 2 Duo CPU T7500 processor, 120GB of hard disk drive, and a DVD Multi. The Toshiba dynabook Satellite TXW/69DW is now available only in Japan for around $1600.

Zombu Offers Cheap Laptop Priced At $280

Zonbu offers a new cheap laptop that only costs $280 and is made by Everest. The desktop replacement features a 1.5Ghz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 15.4-inch WXGA display screen with a resolution of 1440×900, and a Dual Layer DVD recorder.

LG E300-AP75KA Notebook With Hybrid HDD

LG will release the LG E300-AP75KA in Korea. Weighing at 1.3kg, the laptop is powered by a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor with a 13.3 inch WXGA Fine Bright LCD, 2GB of RAM, 160GB of Hybrid hard disk drive with 256MB of flash memory, a DVD Multi Recorder, a 1.3MP webcam, a HDMI output, Wi-fi, and an ATI Radeon X1250 (shared memory). The laptop retails for around $1750.

Sony New VAIO AR600 Series Laptops

Sony has a new line of Vaio AR series laptops with options for Blu-ray and CableCard. The $1,700 VAIO AR630E offers the Blu-ray drive alone, while the $2,400 VAIO AR660U features the CablecCard, and the $3,300 VAIO AR690U does both. These new laptops are also powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 or T7500 processors, and Vista Home or Ultimate. Other features include a 1.3MP webcam, 1440 x 900 or 1920 x 1200 17-inch display, 8400M GT and 8600M GT NVIDIA video graphic, dual 160GB SATA HDDs and HDMI out. These new VAIO laptops will be released in October 2007.

New Toshiba Satellite P205D Notebook Series

Toshiba Satellite P205D is a 17-inch laptop that comes in two models — P205D-S7479 and P205D-S7438. These desktop replacements are based on AMD processor. The Satellite P205D-S7479 comes with latest ATI graphics while the Satellite P205D-S7438 is a value-for-money product. The high-end laptop is powered by 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, 1440×900 resolution, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphics card with 256MB memory, a/g/n wireless, webcam, microphone, and Windows Vista operating system. Meanwhile, the Satellite P205D-S7438 comes with similar specifications except 1.9GHz Athlon 64 X2 TK-55 processor, 160GB hard drive, and ATI Radeon Xpress X1200M. Both laptops are now available for $1,350 and $850 respectively.

Hewlett-Packard Voodoo ENVY M:152 Laptop

Hewlett-Packard has rolled out a new notebook PC in Voodoo line up with the latest Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. The 15.4-inch ENVY M:152 comes equipped with Santa Rosa platform, Core 2 Extreme X7800 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 1680 x 1050 resolution, Nvidia GeForce 8600GT graphics card with 512MB memory, expandable hard drive and dual layer DVD burner. The laptop even features a TV Tuner, 2.0MP webcam, microphone, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and a/g/n wireless. The Hewlett-Packard ENVY M:152 is priced at approx. $3300.

Panasonic New Thoughbook Series

Panasonic updates its Thoughbook rugged laptop PC series with four new models. These new laptops feature the Intel “Santa Rosa” platform and enhanced protection from drops and spills. Known as the CF-T7, CF-W7, CF-Y7, and the CF-R7, the new desktop replacements are aimed at corporate users and can survive a fall from a greater height. The firm claims that the new models can be dropped from 76 centimeters while switched on and still work.

Fujitsu Released Lifebook T2010 Tablet PC

Fujitsu Korea released its Santa Rosa based tablet PC, the Lifebook T2010, in Korea market. The tablet PC adopts 12.1-inch wide touch screen, 1GB memory and SATA 120GB HDD. The system also runs on Core 2 Duo U7600 processor and can be used for up to 12 hours with a large capacity battery.

Eurocom D900C Phantom-X Gaming Notebook

The desktop replacement from Eurocom is powered by the 17-inch LCD screen (1920×1200) and Core 2 Duo E6400/E6600/E6700/X6800 or Core 2 Quad Q6600/Q6700 processor. The laptop also sports up to 4GB RAM, max 750GB hard drive, dual Nvidia GeForce Go 7950GTX graphics card with a total of 1GB DDR3 memory, TV tuner, dual layer DVD burner, Bluetooth, wireless, 1.3MP webcam, and Windows Vista operating system. Eurocom D900C Phantom-X gaming notebook is priced at $2999.

Gigabyte W251 G5 Laptop

Gigabyte launched their new W251 G5 12.1-inch wide notebook PC in the Korea market. FYI, this laptop has won 2006 G-Mark Award for its sleek black design. It runs on Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 processor, and offers 12.1-inch WXGA LCD screen, 2GB RAM, and 120GB SATA hard disk. Weighing 1.85kg(included ODD and battery), the G5 also contains DVD Super Multi optical drive, Bluetooth connectivity, 1.3MP webcam and supports WLAN. The Gigabyte W251 G5 Laptop is priced at around $980.

Toshiba Satellite X205 Gaming Notebook

Toshiba’s Satellite X205 is gaming machine on the go. The laptop comes jam packed with 17-inch display, nVidia GeForce 8700M GT GPU, HD-DVD and dual hard drive option. The Satellite X205 is powered by Intel “Santa Rosa” platform (PM965) and Core 2 Duo CPU. The 8700M GT GPU has 256MB GDDR3 memory and compatible with DirectX 10 games. The 17-inch screen sports a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixel. It also support up to 4GB of RAM and provides harddrive configuration of 2 x 120GB and 2 x 160GB capacities. Other features include Dolby Home Theatre surround, built-in speakers powered by Harman Kardon with sub-woofer, Intel WiFi Link 4965AGC (802.11 a/g/n), Gigabit Ethernet, and built-in webcam/mic. It retails for $1100.

Alienware has announced the availability of Alienware Area-51 m9750 laptop. This 17-inch notebook is one of the most powerful laptops currently on the market. Here is the new Sony VAIO laptop with a Blu-ray drive. Dubbed as the Sony VAIO VGN-FZ70B, the laptop is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, 1GB memory, 160GB hard drive, and Windows Vista operating system. The VGN-FZ70B is based on the Mobile Intel PM965 Express chip set, and can take in a maximum 2GB of DDR2 memory. In addition, the laptop features NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU, three USB 2.0 ports, S-Video output, a 56kbps modem and integrated Bluetooth. The Sony VAIO VGN-FZ70B retails for approximately $2,000.

NEC Japan will release its new VersaPro UltraLight VC notebook in January 2009. The notebook features a 12.1 inch LCD display at WXGA resolution with either Intel Celeron 723 or Core 2 Duo SU9300 processor. Other features include 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, Intel GS45 Express chipset, Wi-Fi connectivity, Fingerprint sensor, Felica port and SD memory card slot.
